summer photo shoot

Every summer I like to do a little photo shoot with the kids.  Last summer we used a professional photographer to get some nice family pictures before we moved to Seattle and I love how they turned out.  In previous summers I would get the kids dressed in coordinating outfits and head out somewhere nice to take some pictures to capture these precious and fleeting childhood moments.  My kids aren't exactly fans of posing for pictures and I do torture them in this way once a year but hey, we all need a reason for therapy as adults.  I will add this year they were cooperative for the most part.  Jillian is a natural in front of the camera and loves it which is great. Leah was happy to smile sometimes which is fine.  And Kyle is in the process of earning back some computer privileges which means he had no choice but to cooperate (worked in my favor).

One of my favorite things to do is look back on them from each year because even though I know I'm biased, I just think my kids are so darn cute and I love looking at pictures!
